NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF GENESEE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Genesee will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Genesee Town Hall, 8296 State Route 417, Little Genesee, New York.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comment and conduct discussion regarding:
- The proposed sale of Town-owned property located on State Route 417; and
- Proposed local laws establishing moratoriums within the Town of Genesee concerning:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS);
- Solar Energy Installations; and
- Data Center Construction.
All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing.
